Did you get the hint? Yes, Dubai has opened up the world’s new tallest hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road. Standing taller than JW Marriott Marquis by a metre, Gevora Hotel promises some of the beast spanning views of the city from its rooftop observatory deck. They also offer you a tray of pastries and some drink at their in-hotel Cafe.

3. Witness the world’s biggest flower structure
It’s of no surprise that Dubai has managed to bag another Guinness World Record. It’s record-earning knack has extended into the wondrous Miracle Garden, one of the Famous places to visit in Dubai, where you can observe the world’s biggest floral Mickey Mouse. Disney’s favourite character is recreated to a height of 18 metres and is constructed using roughly 100,000 flowers which weigh a staggering 35 tonnes.

4. Admire Dubai’s past and present together
The Dubai frame is a much loved Dubai attraction an ideal spot to observe the mingling of old Dubai with its new version. Created using two towers connected by a glass bridge, the Dubai frame looks like a freestanding, large picture frame when seen from land. Ride the elevator to the top to feast on the breathtaking views. To cherish the variation take a look at the city’s transformation at the museum on the ground floor. Would you have thought that a fishing village would unravel itself into a favourite supercity?

Just hearing the name Jumeirah will get you imagining about luxury and sophistication. Well, this new locale in Jumeirah 1 is chock full of chic shops, eateries and restaurants. La Mer is renowned for the unprecedented views of the azure gulf and was where the Dubai Canvas street art festival was hosted. Visiting during day is exciting but at night it exudes a whole new ambience with fairy lights transforming every corner into a magical and sophisticated haven.

6. Go bowling 44 floors above ground
Another world record in our list, The 44 Dubai is home to the world’s tallest bowling alley. Recently opened at the Weston, The 44 Dubai is a sports bar exuding a retro gentleman vibe. It’s licensed and has a double lane bowling alley.

7. Tour the world’s animal kingdom
A long awaited opening was that of the Dubai Safari wildlife park. Sporting some of the world’s firsts in wildlife exhibits, the park is populated with around 2000 animals of 250 different species from every part of the globe. There are more animals scheduled for arrival, until then drive through the world’s first drivable crocodile exhibit, the only drive-through Hippo and Tiger exhibit in UAE and the country’s biggest aviary exhibit.

9. Have breakfast anytime in this art cafe.
Operated by a welcoming British Artist, Cabin is half art studio half cafe serving exemplary food like salmon tacos, chilli burger sliders. You can admire the artwork of Jonathan Gent, order up a delicious breakfast dish (even at lunchtime) and pet your dog too (yes the cafe allows dogs, so good news for all dog-owners).

10. Challenge yourself with a maze
If you are thinking of a plant maze, you have got the picture wrong. This is an urban maze that’s created indoors and awaits it’s players with gripping challenges, exciting twists and sudden turns.
